This Picture is of the, Medical Emergency Relief International (Merlin) Field Hospital one.

Currently the Merlin has started two field Hospitals in IDP Camp Jallozai, and covering a total of 42 thousands IDP population.

The following Agencies are working for the IDPs in Jallozai Camp

• Merlin
  
• PPHI
  
• Provincial Health Department (Especially LRH Field Hospital)
  
• UMMA
  
• Poly Clinic Hospital (Islam Abad) has started a 50 bed Unit at ESCH Pabbi, for the IDPs which is providing Health Care to those who are referred from the Field Hopitals.
  

The Poly Clinic is providing Health Care 7/24, with an excellent dedication.

It is very rare that the Patients from IDPs are referred to Peshawar as the poly clinic is providing care in all the specialties with superb management. The Doctors come from Islam Abad on Rotation Basis; The MS Pabbi Hospital has provided them full Residential Facilities.

Actually all these are learning Lessons for the Government and Health Department to deal with Emergencies, and in the Recent Health Policy Draft a lot has been proposed for such Emergent situations

The IDPs are provided with 10 Ambulances and full immunization Coverage from the EDO (Health) Nowshera EPI Team.

The National Programme of Nowshera is giving full overage through LHWs to the communities regarding Family Planning and Personal Hygiene.

Here we go, some of my amature photpgraphy in Multan that you have to bear. Unfortunately I could not take my camera so it had to be my mobile.

Guess what place can it be. Its a BHU, very well maintained by a young lady doctor who is fond of gardening. The picture doesn't depict the whole of the hardwork put in but may be part of it. The place is Basti Alamgeer.

Well, if its a BHU and maintained by a Lady Doctor, then she must be awarded for her aesthetic sense, and it is also a point to ponder for our Pathan doctors who research have proved, that they are anti-aesthetic and hate anything looking green growing out of the soil

I visited this private clinic in Tehsil Shuja Abad of Multan district. Though the clinic is that of a medical doctor but look at the extensive IV drips practice; given even to those who don't need it at all. Every single patient, irrespective of the age, gender or ailment is given IV drip. This constitutes a public health hazard which is on the rise. Always reminds me of the AIDS program awareness campaigns that Dr. Nayyar talks about

This is a historic wall made by Governor named Shuja in Mughal's time. The city Multan used to lie within the wall. The old and renovated wall can be distinctly seen in lower and upper part respectively.

I thought it was some sort of field hospital for dehydrated patients who had travelled or got trapped in desert.
But its Pakistan. Who cares and who listens. Guess if it was any other country except the three here which lie in a line, the doctor would have been enjoying his life behind iron bars

I caught this walking bird shot using zoom, that is why quality of this picture is not that good.

One of our mega hypothyroid MPH student of 2006 batch was also running same sort of clinic and I guess you could have find the same types of images there

Wow, So MPH students are also there in Multan and I guess they must be either in 1st 2nd or 3rd Semester. Now our MPH Hypo students must be clapping like monkeys on looking at this diagnosis. So party time, Hypos. Cheers

Believe me, there were 3 doctors with me while I was revieweing the photpgraphed register. I was mainly looking for any vaccine preventable diseases. When I came across "hypothyroidism", I stopped at once and started smiling. The colleagues were strangely looking at me as they were surprised that why am I smiling while looking at something out of concern

Ha ha ha. I really enjoyed the situation. And they must have thought that I went crazy when I took out my camera and photographed the page. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .

This Was A very Good idea,To Take The Picture of this Wonderfull Word,it Gives Information That The Disease Is Quite Wide-Spread In Pakistan.This Word Has Diverse Meanings,But in Your Described Perspects ,This Disease Is Responsible For The Bizzare Management Of The Health Care System in Multan.

Sir, Its in proper G8 Markaz just adjacent to Tandoori restaurant. Its a casual kind of restaurant but good in sense that open all the time to serve alone living people who cannot or don't want to cook.

Its not bad as a whole.

The best time to go is late night i.e. after 11:30. I see a lot of couples during these hours.
