Post by The Saint Sat Feb 14, 2009 7:27 pm

I am creating this Photography freaks post for sharing some amateur Photography shots. I hope there will be some Photography geeks among MPH students like me, as I love random photography during leisure time, holidays and vacations. I own a Kodak High Definition Point and Shoot 12 Mega Pixels Camera and Sony H50 9.1 Mega Pixels DSLR Professional Series Camera. I will be uploading some of my best shots here. Obviously I will try to avoid those pictures where I am myself in the frame.

Well, This is superb. A treat to watch, rather.
About some of the hypothyroids, may be we can try and seek some brighter side of the picture to generate some ray of hope as Martin Luther King, Jr. says:

    Greetings Sir!
These pictures are very nice, but the Gaurd in the first picture is exactly like, the dummy we fix in our fields,to avoid birds, spoiling our crops.
In English this type of Dummy is Known Quit- Angle and
in Pushto we Call it BULBUL Sharru. It gives a false-sense of somebody's presence to the birds.

I think that even the Cats of the Abasyn University students are also Hypothyroid
because, yawning and Sleepiness is one of the signs of hypothyroidism,
Dr Nayyar actually wants to prove his statement that Hypothyroidism is much, much more prevalent than we can guess, and at least "I" myself agree with his statement.

So you might be thinking whats special about this Boing 777 of Emirates. Well, this aeroplane was captured by Maximum Zoom out of the Qatar Airways flight from London Heathrow to Doha from my seat 21A. Would you believe that the plane captured is also enroute from Heathrow to Dubai, and is flying just 3000 feet above our aircraft at a speed of 956Km per hour, making contrails in the air. We were at an altitude of 38500 feet over Turkey, so this must be 42500 feet. Now you must be wondering how I managed to capture this from such blazing speeds. Simple, because we were also flying parallel at the same speed. But sorry for the poor quality, as I cant help that. At such distances, this is the best you can capture. This was the best of almost 10 shots I managed to get of that aircraft

Really this is a spectacular shot, you captured in such situation one cannot manage to do so easily, really appreciable effort. The quality is not poor,it is fine.I am specially searching for your these shots.I have a colour printer and print such photos for my children they enjoy, because they are not hypothyroids,as they are children of a Public Health Doctor, and had been prevented from the social stigma of Hypothyroidism.

Neither I made those papers nor did I check those papers you are talking about. But from what I have heard is that, they will declare all results of all programs ( MBA, MA, BBA etc) all at one time, so this is probably causing the delay.

    Hi Zubair
You would be astonished to know that spotting aircraft was the reason that I jumped into Photography and learnt pretty tough lessons undergoing photography sessions. I dont have the expensive Telescopic converters fitting onto DSLR Cameras that can capture clear images of aircraft flying above 40,000 feet right from the ground, but I got an oppurtunity to catch pictures of aircraft from within the aircraft. Its pretty tough but a little bit panning techniques, steady hands and proper use of aperture and shutter speeds can help in capture

Also its not easily managable to shoot with absolute confidence from a setting like within the aircraft with co passangers and cabin crew around. Smile
I'll try to try it next time I fly.

Well as far as cabin crew is concerned, no one bothers your photography as long as you dont use flash. Many people take in air photographs. For taking pictures out of your windows, you need a window seat, next if you want to take ground photos from above, you can take good snaps when the plane is banking towards where you are sitting, but good zoom with wide apertures is a MUST. If you want to take pictures of other aircraft, like I took, your plane must be enroute a path which has heavy aircraft traffic, for example UL608 path, which almost all aircraft from middle east to western europe take, both ways. In Pakistan, it would be a 1 in 100,000 chance for such photographs, but over Europe you will have a 60-70% chance of witnessing other aircraft either above or below you. There will be definitely planes in front and back of you too, but no way to take their pics

But sir, what if someone has acrophobia Smile very mild degree of which I have specially while the plane is banking, which as you said is one of the better chances to shoot ground.

There is nothing to worry about while the plane is banking. Instead you can get the best ground shots while amazing. Here is a picture which once I took while the plane was banking over Islamabad/ Rawalpindi on my flight from Karachi to Islamabad. As the plane took a turn for finals of landing, got a shot of Islamabad Airport from the plane window. Here it is..... Obviously without zoom as i wanted to capture maximum of landscape

Lamp Post. A static Shot. Nothing Special but the depth of field makes it stand out from the background. I Just want to emphasize that if you have a creative mind, you can make best shots from the most trivial things on earth. Your T3 and T4 must be within normal range, and there should be no mongoloid features ( No syndromes et al.)

I was scanning my computer for some important MPH files and in the process found a picture which I took 2 years back on way to Khunjerab Pass in the Northern Areas. Reminds of the spiritual beauty of the area.

This one in 2007, during my 18 hours stay in Abu Dhabi. A night time stroll in downtown Hamdan Street Abu Dhabi and I found this strange creature.

A picture taken from the balcony of my room. Dried autumn leaves with contrails of an unknown aircraft more than 30,000 feet above. God knows better where are these people going. Best wishes to them.......

Qatar Airways Flight taking off from Runway 35, Peshawar Airport (Jamrud Road End) captured while I was getting my Car Silencer fixed at a workshop. Poor quality as taken from Mobile Phone Camera, but captured the essence.
