You are very right and believe me I am feeling extremely ashamed of my current students who have failed badly to arrange a farewell party despite collecting money and despite my repeated requests.
You know with the passage of time, hypothyroidism is growing badly in my students and I am getting more and more incapacitated students. Don't worry, forget about the retards currently in mph. For you 5-6 people I will arrange a party myself

If junior failed to arrange the party for the outgoing students, senior will tack this responsibility to arrange the party for them that will not get disheartening.

Even if this Strata also failed then there is another stratum who can do this...... Having a very good Track record of Parties, jubilations. Hungamas etc cf. Himayat. Shazia. Mohd Khan. Wahidi. Fazal Rehman. Abu Zar. Zubair .Safdar. Mutahira. Zia Dawar etc

As per my analysis the the threshold for arranging and participating the farewell parties is down sloping. Either the concept is getting old or non-seriousness.

There should be a mechanism as to continue this tradition and abide by that.
The organization of the parties should be part of internal assessment as this shows the ability of individual(s), how manage a small event and leading to organizing and managing big events in public health related fields.

Money collection should not be a problem as fund raising is part of charity working all over the world and this trick should be in the paste of every public health fellow, as this is convincing power of individual to receive funds for future projects and programs.
Venue may be selected as a majority will or a toss is required.

In my idea arranging these kind of events create opportunities to Public health fellows to exchange ideas and to get rid of tense environments.

Should these parties be organized and arranged on regular basis.

I am again sorry to say, it is not one man show, please contribute and participate cordially.

No matter seniors arrange or juniors, we have to continue the tradition.

Let's have the fun and be on track as these events give breath-taking environments.
