Please Read these Rules and regulations Clearly as they apply to all MMSPH students at Abasyn University. Everything would be governed under these rules and regulations

Respected sir,
I do not see any hurdle in abiding by these rules if someone is in honestly interested to get a master degree, For I am sure that we made it very easy to get a master degree like this, for getting a Bachelor degree in sciences , regular presence is required so how someone can imagine getting of the Master degree with so much impractical way.
I think these are very easy qualities, for an entry exam should also be included to decide about the enrolement.

I wanted to include that point but that was not agreed by the management

but there should be a clear and open vision for the degree title.
like we in the start told that it is MPH , then after one semester it was shifted to MMPH, and now to MMSPH.

I have discussed this topic with one of HEC representative, she said that this is not a management degree course. the subjects are of public health and the title is of management sciences. so there is confusion in this degree.
i am disappointed from the univ admin about this degree fat and future.
also i have niticed abasyn univeristy is not included in the approved list of UN and WHO (un.jobs.com) . even alkhair like univ is listed there but no name of abasyn. i will request the admin to at least inculde the univeristy name there . so that we can apply on this degree at un organizations .

for the last few days i am trying to register my self at un.org as new log up.
but at univeristies lists and qualification column there is nothing about abasyn university . and it is also clearly written that only the following unvi in pak are accepted by un. please guide me in this regard.

I have also checked in UN Jobs. (Academic information - Institution)

In universities list. Abasyn University is not found.

Clearly written there that "Please note that UN Pakistan only accepts applicants from these Universities"

There is a link on the UN Page where it is written that "Please note that UN Pakistan only accepts applicants from these Universities" (http://www.iau-aiu.net/members_friends/mem_membinst1.html). I have checked the link and found that even the major universities are not the members International Association of Universities and even most of the ones mentioned on the UN site are not members of the this Association which indicates that membership of this association is not the criterion for inclusion in the UN job portal website. I personally feel, the HEC recognition may be the criteria for inclusion in the UN Job portal website. I shall try to look into this and draw out some information but I feel a little bit of probing by the University Administration and their interest would help including our university. It is not just the MMSPH but there are other programs / courses which are taught in the university and fellows/graduates of those programs may also apply for UN jobs. I think, this point may be brought in the consideration of the University high ups.

Comments of Dr. Nayyar may help deciding further follow up.

But I could not find it; can you please post the link. This provides us a strong basis for requesting to include the University name on the UN common job portal website as well.

Even on the UNESCO website, reference and link of the UN comon job portal website is given for applications. The link of the UNESCO site where the link of "jobs.un.org.pk" is gove is http://unesco.org.pk/vacancies.html
