The confirm Polio Cases in Pakistan has reached to 16. Again the bulk is from KP and FATA. Below is the detail;

Polio eradication is a failed concept in the context of Pakistan. Its time to be realistic and think about other real priorities. Polio control cant get better than this. Now the program has taken another dimension by repeated killing of polio workers.
Measles outbreaks are slapping the health care in its face. Time to shift our focus

Failure leads to success and i hope that one day this country will be polio free otherwise we will be banned even to offer Hajj.it is the duty of each and every one of us to eradicate polio from pakistan

Important:  

84% of all Polio virus are genetically linked with virus family of Peshawar. Peshawar has been declared a reservoir for Polio Virus. 4 cases of Afghanistan are also linked with Peshawar virus.

bomb blasts and now polio blasts. what has happened to our beloved Peshawar. it is mostly because most of the scum from tribal areas is now settled in peshawar.

The number of Polio Cases has crossed the last year figure and still 45 days left in this year. 52 out of 63 cases belong to KP & FATA.

Polio Outbreak in Hayatabad

Hayatabad which is thought to be one of the most posh areas of Peshawar, has got a Polio cases, area around HMC in Phase-4. The sad part is the father refused to Polio vaccination (both to OPV as well as IPV) for this child only. All other children are vaccinated fro Routine as well OPV vaccination. But the fact is we can do the mistake, we can miss the children but the virus never. It gets its target whenever and wherever it finds an un-vaccinated child.

This give a total of 4 cases in Peshawar; i.e. UC Mera Kachuri (Jhagra), UC Larama, UC Deh Bahadar and UC Hayatabad. Total cases in Pakistan 21 in 2015.

in 2014, total cases were 306 and Peshawar have 32, stood second after 176 from FATA.

May Allah have mercy on all the children of Pakistan and save us from this menace.
