Mid Term Exam in Organizational Management

Dear Semester 1,2,3 colleagues

I would like to inform all of you that Dr. Nazim sb and Mr. Asif Qureshi sb announced the dates for mid term exam paper in Organizational Management. The exam will be held at Abasyn University on Saturday the 26th of November 2011 at 4:30 pm.

I would also like to share some information about the topics covered so for before the mid term exam, these are:

1. Functions of Management
2. Management roles and skills
3. External environment
4. PEST analysis
5. Porter's 5 forces analysis
6. SWOT analysis
7. Case study/s

Most regular colleagues has copies of notes available with them, Irregular or DL fellows can get a copy made from one of the regular fellows.

With respect, I think Dr. Abdul Ghafar is right, it is really difficult for some of us to appear in that exam. It would be more convenient for us (Afghan students) to take this test from 100 % rather than 30 marks. I hope that you would put this under your considerations.

The suggestion and request is correct and timely, I fear that your message is not conveyed so far as Dr.Nazim is not a using this forum , so kindly get some one to convey your message, otherwise your message will expire and the mid term for organizational management is compulsory as the university examination section will be prepared for mid term and you people won't.

Study any Managment book (like graffin) and you will find all the topics for the Medterm Exam these are the Basic of organizational Managment.
there is also sufficient material on the editboard for your convenience uploaded by Sir Nayyar and some topics by other colleagues.you may also take help from the CD Provided and there is "cliff Principles of Managment" book a very simple and interesting book on the subject.
Don't make a fun of yourself in front of the seniors and don't Panic.

I met Sir Asif yesterday and he informed that the result is not yet ready and will be announced in next couple of days so bring your seats back to up-right positions, relax and enjoy Muharam break.

Another interesting situation, yesterday there was Dr. Jamil's lecture on Health Care Planning. To our surprise no body turned up and myself and Dr. Jamil turned the lecture into a one to one interactive and very productive meeting on information, types and systems. I am very much concerned about the casual attitude of the students, who have made it a routine not to attend the classes. And when they will Inshallah fail in the exams, then they will start shouting and chest beating that they are the most intelligent creatures on earth, next to Socrates, and that they didnt deserved to be fail.
I cant say anything much about such losers. they should stick a big "L" on their foreheads
