    Respected Nighat AoA!

I hope You will be busy in writing your synopsis, I will advise you to use your own brain and avoid Computer Jugglery and Plagiarism because even small effort will give you serenity and satisfaction only when , it is really your "own".

I appreciate your endeavours in conacting Sir,Dr Nayyar and other colleagues to understand how reasearch is written, as Dr Nayyar has reffered your case to me, so I am feeling proud and giving your request the Top- Most Priority.

I have learnt a lot from Dr Nayyar but I think that Research is the field where I found my Teacher "THE MOST SHARP"

I am uploading his lecture on synopsis, which I have noted while attending the class of Dr Nayyar On The Topic "How To Write Synopsis For Your Research Study".Apparently this is a small guide but it has all the necessary elements which one requires while on the move towards writing synopsis for the research.
I am just near to complete my research and Insha Allah will come back with a standard study.

I have already shared it with my colleagues and everyone has found it useful and helpful, I hope that you will also reciprocate identical comments.
If you need further help, please don't hesitate, I will try my level best to help you
Now a days I am not regular to visit the forum so kindly avoid this route
    Wish You Good Luck
    With Regards

    Synopsis of Research Writing

    1-Title

    The work you have done

2-Background and Rationale of the study

This should be a about 1-2 page

Define the problem, discuss the magnitude its effects on health or health related issue

and any other relevant information you may want to discuss (You should give references)

The references should be accepted only if it is in Vancouver style

    Rationale_

Justify with reasons, that why you would like to do this research study

How your research will add new knowledge to a given problem’s solution

    Research methodology

    • Objectives of the study (SMART) Specific, Measurable, Attainable. Realistic And Time Bound
    • Operational Definition
    • Study population
    • Study venue, dates
    • Sample size
    • Inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria
    • Data collection methods, like community survey, interviews, questionnaire
    • Data analysis methods like, Counting frequencies Tables, SPSS, Epi Info, regression co- relation etc
    • Reference:

    Vancouver Style

Suppose Dr Nayyar Raza Kazmi and Dr Abu Zar had done a study on hepatitis C In children living in afghan Refugees Camp, and you want to give this reference then you have to Write the last full names of the authors and Abbreviated first name of the authors, then give the book name, then the reference of the book or journal in which it was published in an abbreviated form then the year in which it was published, then give the volume of the concerned topic and then the range of pages in which this particular topic was discussed

The following is the example of such reference in a Vancouver style.

    • Kazmi NR, Zar A, Frequency Of Hepatitis C In Children Living In Afghan Refugee Camp, Brit Medjour BMJ, 2008 VOL 1(S): 146-149

Chi square test for categorical variables

    And t-test for numerical variable

Note: - Questionnaire Should Be Attached As Annexure
