Here is the great 5th semester, the driving force beyond the farewell party of 6th semester, but shamefully 6th semester was absent from the group photo

And last but not the least the 1st Semester but very obviously without the "AUNTIES" who objected to the farewell party and hence walked out of group photos

Sir
I usually remain unaware for these sessions, if I knew it before that the phtography session is programmed then I should have participated.
Thanks for the concern

Sir, same goes for me and not appearing in the picture feels like a punishment huh ! .... My apologies for the hypo behaviour in this regard.
But I am sure, Me and Abuzar will get together next Saturday for a picture with you in this background.
I'll bring in my camera and will intimate you the confirmation of mine and Abu Zar's presence on coming Saturday and request you for possibly bringing your camera, please.
Nonetheless, apologies again.

I THINK THE FIRST SEMESTER PHOTO WITHOUT AUNTIES IS QUITE GOOD, BECAUSE IF THE AUNTIES WERE THERE IN PHOTOGRAPHY THAN IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE THERE IN ONE PHOTO.

As far as Aunties are concerned, if someone looks into international literature, you will find that Hypothyoridism is more common in females and at the age (oooops shouldnt be talking about their ages as its a forbidden territory), you can guess what i mean

Aunties have disgraced their image in my eyes as well as their fellows eyes. we can teach every aspect of public health but we cannot teach human manners and etiquette to these ageing antique creatures

Re: Group Photo 19th Feb 2010
I don't really know these aunties but am compelled by the discussion above to comment.
What I think is that social interaction is one of the basic instincts. Though the level and interest may vary individual to individual but it does exist in human beings. I personally sometimes avoid attending social gatherings with some circles but there is a way to do everything, as Dr. Nayyar mentioned in the above post.
I was shocked to know that someone could walk out from the class and went upto the extent of protesting for not attending social gathering and for avoiding contribution. Bizarre ! ... isn't it ?

Mr arshad&mr farooq
We the students of mph use this forum to collect notes &information which is
Provided by our respected teacher dr nayyer but you used this forum to pass disrespectful remarks &comments on female students of mph 1,2,3 semester by giving them special names This kind of behaviour is not acceptable in university. Nobody has the right to digrace someone else as it is the easiest thing in the world Everbody male or female is not bound to attend a party or appear in a group photo especially where students are not of same calibre
Y
As far as age is concerned Prophet(PBUH0 has told us to acquire knowledge at any age
& I think it is YOU that is having some problem with your age or something so cure your problem or the administration of abasyn university would gladly help you.
Drfarooq I was not expecting this behaviour from you as you seem to be a decent sober
Well educated person

Re: Group Photo 19th Feb 2010
Dear Dr Uzma Habib
I have carefully gone through all the posts, and I dont think anybody has been named, so there is no need of taking anything personal. Mr Arshad and Dr Farooq both are very respectable students, and personally I have found them to be nice and obedient fellows.
They have not made any remark against you. This whole thing thing stemmed out when a group of females being led by someone raised hue and cry over issue of donating money for farewell party which is a norm in this university whether someone attends it or not.
The group went to the extent of not only raising objection but also used some foul langauge against their teacher in front of some senior semester students. Later on they even raised objections to boys of their class as to why have they donated the money when they (the females) were not ready to do so.
We respect everyon'es opinion of deciding individually to attend or not atend but cursing other boys as to why they have made payments simily reflects on the social status of such people.
Now what has that brought. The whole MPH students except these few are attending the farewell, and by indulging in such weird behavior these females have made themselves social outcasts.
Social events are part of human life. It wont make any difference to us if 4-5 females dont attend (because a lots of other females beonging to higher semesters are attending) but the negative impression created will last forever.

Re: Group Photo 19th Feb 2010
R/Dr Nayyer
last friday in class it was not cleared as if every student has to
make contribution for party whether he or she attends it or not.
As it is now notified & clarified by you on forum so i expect that in next coming class every student who has'nt yet contributed ll do the payment
for the party.I was not aware of the conflict until you clarified it
in such detail.I think now atleast issue of money contribution
ll be solved hopefully.

Dear Dr Uzma
We respect everyone's opinion as every individual has the right to say yes or no, the only thing which went against the tradition is that someone from the 1st semester started objecting to other people's contribution and raised a lot of hue and cry on this issue.
I hope the issue is settled. You are a good student and we wish you success in your studies
Thanks
